Bentonite Grinding Plant

This bentonite grinding plant was built on the Georgia port to receive, dry and grind bentonite from Greece.

Mouat designed, fabricated and constructed a new building and installed all process equipment including a Raymond grinding mill, bentonite conveying equipment and silos. The project incorporated the design and installation of the environmental system and electrical controls.

Mouat’s responsibilities also included site preparation and installation of a rail spur for rail unloading of raw materials and loading of ground bentonite.
