Resin Coated Frac Sand Plant

Birmingham, Alabama

Mouat designed, supplied and installed a new frac sand resin coating line for this existing facility. The new production line included a new raw sand feed system, sand and resin metering, sand heating, mixing, blending, screening, storage and truck load-out. The project included the design and installation of the electrical control system and complete integration of the production line into existing plant operations.

The process design and control system emphasized Mouat’s focus on precise control of all process variables.
