Caterpillar/Citation Joint Venture

Mouat’s fixed price contract for this no-bake design-build facility to produce steel ground engagement tool castings for Caterpillar included concept development, procurement of equipment, mechanical installation, project management and facility start-up.

Mouat’s responsibilities included design, supply and installation of a Palmer no-bake molding system, sand system, environmental system and electrical controls. Mouat also installed melting furnaces and hot metal delivery system and provided and installed CEC casting heat treating and quench system and Wheelabrator shot blast machines.
